Finally you say….”I’m hearing from Carey!” Yes, my apologies for the lack of communication. This year has been amazing here on the African continent, so much so, that although I am coming home over Christmas New Year, I will be returning to Kenya in mid January 2014.

2013 has seen me venture to Tanzania, Uganda, Ethiopia and also the odd trip within Kenya. Inspirational people, incredible sights and hopefully, lessons learned.

There is so much to catch up on! This blog is one way to share with you about the people I have met, the places visited and the endless possibilities that abound not only in Kenya, but across this remarkable continent.

There are many women and men, boys and girls living in inner city slums and impoverished rural communities; and one thing for sure, is the tangible hope that is held for change – a transforming change to rid their lives of poverty. I’m more convinced today that when people come together with a common cause, then lives can become infinitely better.
